SCB parks to turn fruit gardens

Bowenpally: Parts of Secunderabad Cantonment parks would be developed as fruit gardens and as a pilot project, the project was kicked off on Saturday at the Sancharpuri colony park in ward No 1. Jakkula Maheshwar Reddy, ward member SCB said, “It is a new concept and we are extremely happy that it is being started in our ward. The fruit trees would not only add charm to the park but also help the community.

” Fruit bearing trees were planted in the presence of    Jojneswar Sharma, Director General, Defence Estates, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, S.V.R Chandrasekhar, C E O, SCB and other officials. Sancharpuri Colony Welfare Association . President, Anji Reddy said that the park is well maintained and the fruit trees would help enhance its beauty.
