Birth anniversary of Chatrapati Sivaji celebrated

Tandur:  Jana Chaitanya Youth Association honorary president Juntupalli Venkat on Monday called upon the youth to recall the heroics of Chatrapati Sivaji Maharaj and follow his footsteps. 

He paid rich tributes to Sivaji by garlanding his statue at Sivaji Chowk in the town on the occasion of his birth anniversary. 

It is not sufficient to recall his heroics on his birth anniversary day alone. He favoured inspiring the youth by indoctrinating them by explaining the wars he had waged. 
He suggested decorating the Sivaji status on every Monday. 

BJP Vikarabad district secretary Ramesh Kumar, advocate Gundappa, priest Pandu and others took part in the celebrations.
