Challenged woman seeks loan for self-employment

Vikarabad:  A 26-year-old physically challenged woman met District Collector Omar Jaleel on Monday and sought loan on subsidy to enable her to start a provision store in her habitat-PCM thanda. 

Earlier in 2014, she unsuccessfully applied for a loan with subsidy component. She was identified as V Lakshmi of Gurudotla village panchayat in Dharru mandal of the district. On account of her disability, she said she has been facing many challenges to move about freely. Therefore, she visited the RDO office and met Jaleel when he visited the RDO office for Prajavaani programme.
