Collector seeks estimates on Vikarabad beautification by March 19

Vikarabad: District Collector Omar Jaleel has directed government officials to take measures to beautify the town. 

Addressing officials at Collectorate on Wednesday, he asked them to prepare estimates and plans for beautification of the town and submit them to him by March 19.
Further, he asked the officials concerned to take steps to widen the road from the Sri Sai Dental college to NTR junction in the town.
 
Municipal commissioner has been directed to identify suitable site for development of park on the bank of the Siva Sagar Tank in the town and prepare estimates for the park development.  Also, they were asked to take steps to develop the Gandhi park further. 
He set June 2 as the deadline for completing the road widening and park development works.

He asked the officials to take steps to undertake repairs to the bridge on the Collectorate-Vikarabad town route, develop foot-paths and fix electric lamps to the same. 
The Collector asked the officials to identify a suitable site for construction of a model and integrated market for sale of vegetarian and non-vegetarian products. 

As part of road-widening works, he wanted officials to keep in mind construction of urinals for the benefit of people. 

He wanted the road widening works to be executed in a scientific way adhering to quality standards. 

Joint Collector Sandhya Rani, municipal commissioner Satyanarayana Reddy, AE Srikant, R and B divisional engineer Janaki Ramulu, assistant engineer Lakshminarayana, Vikarabad Tahsildar Chinna Appala Naidu, town planning officer Satyanarayana and others took part in the review meeting.
