Lackadaisical attitude will not be tolerated
Medak: “The officials in the district who show lax attitude in the Land Records Updation Project (LRUP) will not be spared at any cost”, the new Collector of Medak district K Dharma Reddy warned the officials on Wednesday.
In a review meeting with RDOs and Tahsildars in the district held at his office here, the Collector said there should not be any negligence in the implementation of the project which is prestigious in government’s view as the farmers will get Rs. 4,000 per acre as financial assistance for crop investment from this Kharif season across the state.
The Collector expressed his anger over Tahsildar of Shivampet mandal as some errors of repetition of survey numbers had been found in Shivvampet mandal land records. Continuous inspection by the Tahsildars on the project is compulsory at each mandal headquarters while uploading the data.
The uploading of data should be verified by RDOs and Tahsildars before it goes onto the Dharani land website, said the Collector. Joint Collector Nagesh, DRO Ramulu and RDOs and Tahsildars participated in the meeting.
