Japanese Consulate donates Rs 58 lakh for shelter home

Hyderabad: Japanese Consulate has provided necessary funds for the construction of shelter cum rehabilitation centre for victims of trafficking in Hyderabad. This was explained by the Shiho Bamba, Counsul, Consulate General of Japan at Chennai in a programme on Wednesday. 

She appreciated KGNM Trust, Hyderabad for their extraordinary dedication towards the welfare of women and girl children. The Trust has completed the building construction within the time frame with good quality. She expressed her happiness for financial assistance and participating in the new building inauguration in Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust, Hydershhakote branch on Wednesday.

M Jagadeeshwar, Secretary WD & CW department has appreciated the generous initiative of Japan Consulate for supporting Rs 58 lakhs to construct a shelter cum rehabilitation centre for victims of trafficking. He also explained the schemes for women and children by Government of Telangana.  

Rangareddy district collector Raghunandan Rao has appreciated the special efforts of KGNM Trust which is offering all required services covering all vulnerable women of different age groups.
