KCR to inaugurate Aqua Ex India at HITEX

 Hyderabad: Aqua Ex India-2018 being organised by Telangana Fisheries department and CIFA from March 15 to 17 at HITEX will be inaugurated by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at 4 pm on March 15. Minister for Fisheries Talasani Srinivas Yadav will chair the inaugural session, a press release issued by the minister’s office said on Wednesday.

Representatives of 12 countries will attend the event which is the first such to be organised in South-East Asia. Among the topics to be discussed are production of quality fish seed, running of hatcheries, fish production. A technical exhibition is also being conducted. Experts in the field will speak on various topics during the three days.

The inaugural function will be attended by Chief Secretary S K Joshi, department Secretary Tarun Sridhar, NFDB Chief Executive Officer Ranikumudini, MD Sandeep Kumar Naik, Minister P Mahender Reddy, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan,  MLAs K Visheshwar Reddy, P Narender Reddy, Arekapudi Gandhi, Corporator Jagadishwar Goud.
