Agitation threat by TS 108 staff

Musheerabad: The Telangana Medical, Health, Indian Medicine and Homeopathy Employees’ Union, under the Telangana 108 employees’ wing, on Thursday served strike notice to the Labour Commissioner demanding payment of salaries, in accordance with GO 3.
Union president Palle Ashok, while serving the notice, demanded that 108 employees should be recognised as contract staff with work schedule of eight hours. He wanted the government to immediately pay the OT dues pending for the last five years.
Ashok warned that if the demands were not conceded the employees, along with their families, would launch an agitation. Among the union leaders present was secretary Anjaiah, Sridharbabu, Naresh.
