Telangana MRPS ‘Chalo Delhi’ rally on March 20 to 22

Khairatabad: The Telangana Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi is getting ready for a ‘chalo Delhi’ rally on March 20, 21 and 22 demanding Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao take a delegation to Delhi to press for introduction of the SC Categorisation Bill in Parliament. Samiti founder-president Itukaraju Madiga, while putting forth the demand at a press conference here, urged KCR to pressure the Centre to give statutory status to SC categorisation.

Also present at the press conference were Madiga JAC State working president G Yadayya, TMSF State coordinator Saidulu Madiga, Valasa Coolila Sankshema Sangham State president Veerapaga Naresh, TMYF State coordinator Nallasiva Madiga.

The Madiga leaders hailed KCR’s statement in the State Assembly that he would be with the Madigas  till the just demand of SC categorisation is met. They wanted the government to provide reservations in education, employment and welfare based on the SC population as revealed by its the comprehensive survey. 

The leaders warned that if the government failed to concede the demand the ruling party would become a victim of the Madigas’ ire in the ensuing elections. Also present at the press meet were TMRPS leaders Iramgari Ramulu, Manila Rajeshwar, Gadi Dattatreya, Ajay, Maddileti.
