Teachers not keen to give one-day wage to CMRF
Parigi: Upadhyaya Sanghala Porata Committee on Thursday opined that there was no need for the State Government to cut one-days wages of teachers, who earlier have given their consent, to contribute to the CM’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
In the light of State government issuing a GO asking authorities to impose a cut in the wages of teachers who had earlier given consent, the committee leaders Panduranga Swamy and B Jaipal said that the teachers were in no mood to contribute their one-day’s wages as the State government was not keen on doing away with the Contributory pension scheme and revert to the old scheme.
They reiterated that the government should not impose cut in the wages of the teachers’ salaries without the consent of the teachers.
