Siddipet Municipal Commissioner inspects avenue plantation

Siddipet: ‘Due to the heat waves in summer season, the trees planted as part of avenue plantation should be looked after with special care’, Siddipet Minicipal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy ordered the Horticulture official Ilaiah during his inspection of the plantation alongside the Hyderabad road on Thursday. 

The official also directed lineman of water supply Goremiya to supply the water for the plants by arranging drip system for this season. Later, the Commissioner visited and ordered to speed up the water pipe line works at 6, 15 and 24, 25 and 26 wards in the town. He said, every tree and plant in the town was important and were being protected with special care in order to transform the town into fully green town.

Meanwhile, Municipal Chairman Rajanarsu, who along with the councillors arranged tree guards to the plants, said protecting trees is the responsibility of all for the sake of everyone. The planted in the entire town are being maintained and watered with tankers, he said. DE Laxman, AE Yadagiri, Councillors and other officials and public representatives participated in the drive.
