Aditya Park celebrates Earth Day

Ameerpet: Earth Day is globally recognised once a year celebration on April 22nd , various events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. 

First celebraated in 1970, Earth Day events in more than 193 countries are now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network On  March 24th, Management and staff of  hotel Aditya Park supported annual environmental campaign  to commemorate Earth Day. This collective effort was aimed to spread the message of adopting environmentally friendly practices in our daily lives, amongst colleagues and the local community.

In honour of Earth Day, Hotel Aditya Park , Ameerpet conveyed and encouraged its staff and guests as well as the local community to think and act green, to create small changes in our everyday activities that have a positive impact on our local society.  

Hotel Aditya Park , Ameerpet is committed to environmentally responsible manner therefore on March 24th, Saturday starting from 20:30 to 21:30 (8:30 to 9:30 ) pm the hotel encouraged its staff and guests to save energy by switching off non-essential lighting, including the façade lighting and dimming interior lights. Guests were also invited to participate by turning off the lights in their guestrooms and unplugging electronics that were not in use.

Earth Day is an initiative that started back in 1970 when 20 million Americans launched the modern environmental movement. Today the Earth Day network works with over 50,000 partners in 192 countries and more than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day each year. 

With the worldwide concerns such as global warming, celebrating Earth Day is as relevant as ever.
