CSCs open on holidays too

Hyderabad: In order to increase collections of property tax in twin cities, GHMC officials have announced that Citizen Service Centres (CSCs) would remain open on public holidays as well. GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy stated that taxes can be remitted on March 30 since it would be financial year closing by March 31. 

He said that in order to facilitate the citizens, the civic body has taken this decision. Directions in this regard were given to all the deputy commissioners and officials concerned to keep the citizen service centres open till 8 pm every day and until March 31. In this connection the Commissioner, GHMC appealed the property tax payers to avail this opportunity to pay the property tax immediately for the financial year 2017-18.
