Campaign against child marriages

Seethaphalmandi/MK Nagar: Condemning the social evil of child marriages prevalent in the society, MV Foundation, an NGO, launched an intensive awareness campaign recently in Seethaphalmandi and MK Nagar. 

Shedding light on how child marriages snatch away the young ones' fair share of rights to study, play and grow in a healthy and happy environment, MV Foundation joined hands with Seethaphalmandi Corporator Samala Hema and Tarnaka Corporator A Saraswathi Hari to spread awareness in their respective constituencies. 

Posters were released as a part of the campaign and both the Corporators pledged to fight against the exploitation of children in all forms. While Saraswathi said that she would ensure to end child labour in her area, Hema went on a door to door programme explaining residents to work towards making the society a safer place for children to live in.
