City chants Rama nama!

Marking Sri Rama Navami as an occasion to celebrate unity and brotherhood among people of various religions and castes, a local basthi leader Mallesh organised Seetharama Kalyanam at Anjaneya Swamy temple in Devender Nagar. State Minority Cell Secretary S K Hussain along with SK Abesd and Raghu participated in the festivities.

Praying for the welfare of people in Qutubullapur constituency, Jeedimetla Corporator Padma Prathap Goud participated in the Seeta Rama Kalyanam festivities in Ayodhya Nagar, here on Monday.

On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, former Qutubullapur MLA Kuna Srisailam Goud offered special prayers to the deity at various temples in Ayodhya Nagar, Chintal Prasuna Nagar, Bapu Nagar etc.

Qutubullapur MLA KP Vivekanand and MLC Shambipur Raju took part in the grand festivities of Sri Rama Navami at various temples in the constituency and held special prayers to the deity for the happiness, health, and prosperity of Telangana and its people.

Corporator K Jagan participated in the celestial celebrations of Sri Rama Navami at Kunamahalaxmi Nagar and held prayers to the deity for the welfare of people in his area and of the state.

Flagged off by Division President Devagari Rajender Reddy, DRR Yuvasena undertook a massive bike rally from Fox Sagar to commemorate the celestial wedding of Lord Rama.
