Fresh army recruits sent to training centres

Secunderabad: It was a proud moment for the parents and relatives of 491 young men from Telangana when their recruitment process into the Indian Army culminated with their dispatch to various Training Centers across India. The process which began with Army Recruitment Rally at Karimnagar from 01 to 10 November 2017 involved physical fitness tests, medical examination and common entrance exam.

In a solemn affair conducted at Army Recruitment Office, Secunderabad presided over by Col Jose Joseph (Retd), an Army veteran, dispatch documents were handed over to the selected candidates.  Speaking on the occasion, Col Jose Joseph (Retd), exhorted the young men to concentrate on their training and bring laurels to their families and the state of Telangana.
