Gaiety marks ‘Srirama Navami’ festivities
Sri Sita Rama Kalayanam was performed on a grand note at Ramalayam in Challpally of Kapra circle here on Monday. Ex-MLA Bandaru Rajireddy attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Devotees participated in large numbers to witness the celestial wedding. Committee members Ramchander Goud, Prabhakar Reddy, Komma Narsingh, Raju, thoorpu Hanumanthu, Manmohan Reddy and others were present.
Sri Rama Navami was celebrated on a grand note at Sri Seetharamachandra Swamy Temple in Beerappagadda on Monday. Later, ‘Annadanam’ programme was organised. Ragidi Lakshma Reddy Madhura Charitable Trust Chairman S Dharma Reddy, Temple Committee members Akiti Aagam Reddy, Nerdham Bhaskar Goud, Palla Kishan Goud, Yellagouni Prakash Goud, Dayanand, Chandrasekhar, Raju Madhusudhan Reddy and Hariprasad Gupta took part.
People participated in large numbers in the celestial wedding of Lord Sri Rama and Seetha in various colonies like Dwaraka Nagar, Saraswathi Nagar, Indraprastha Conlony, Sri Ramana Colony, Hanuman Nagar, Venkateshwara Nagar of Hastinapur division on Monday. Local Corporator Ramavath Padma Srinu Naik attended the event and organised ‘Annadanam’ after the pooja. Colony representatives Indra Reddy, Megha Reddy, Cheera Suresh, Laxmi Narayana, Shekar Reddy were present.

Temple committee priests Sheshacharyulu, Chief Guest Bandaru Laxma Reddy, Bethi Subhash Reddy, Mekala Hanmanth Reddy, Pannala Devender reddy, Temple Committee president K Anji reddy, Vice-president K Hanumanthu, Sai Reddy, Kondal Reddy, Ramesh, Mohan Reddy, Veera Reddy and others were present.
