Polytechnic student commits suicide

Toopran: An 18-year-old polytechnic student in Medak district committed suicide by hanging self to the ceiling fan in her house on Sunday. According to the Sub Inspector of Toopran Nagarjuna Goud  Naga Rani , who belong to Pothireddypet village of Kolcharam mandal studying EEE final year of polytechnic course at Noble Polytechnic College located at Lingareddypet village in Manoharabad mandal, on Sunday, hanged herself when they were no one at home.

The girl’s aunt who was busy washing clothes outside the house, found the girl hanging to the ceiling and rushed her to the hospital with the help of locals where she was declared brought dead.  At the time of the incident, her father Bikshapthi Goud went to his daily work at a local wine shop and elder brother went to their relative’s place along with mother. 

Nagarani had already appeared for 4 subjects of her ongoing final examinations, said the SI who registered a case of suicide for unknown reasons based on the complaint by the parents. The investigation is underway to find the inquest. It is learnt that the parents restricted the girl from using mobile phone for six months.
