Rama Navami celebrations grip city in religious fervour

Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy participated in the celestial wedding celebrations of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita at a Ramalayam in Devi Nagar on Monday. He organised an Annadaanam on the occasion. 

Sri Ram Navami celebrations were held on a grand scale at the Sai Baba temple in Sai Nagar of Malkajgiri, here on Monday. Priests of the temple said those offering prayers to Lord Rama this year are lucky since the current Telugu New Year comes once in 60 years. 

Local leader Ameenuddin organised an annadaanam for the devotees at Hanuman temple in Sivanand Nagar on the occassion of Rama Navami on Monday.

Tarnaka Corporator A Saraswathi Hari along with her husband performed Seetharama Kalyanam at MK Nagar on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, here on Monday.

Malkajgiri DCP Uma Maheshwar Sharma took part in the grand Sri Rama Navami celebrations organised by the Medchal district Malkajgiri Mudiraj Association, here on Sunday.

MLC Mynampally Hanumanth Rao along with Corporators Akula Narsing Rao, Jagadeesh Goud, former corporators Prem Kumar, Jitender Reddy, Nagakumari, Jyothi, Vijaya kumari and temple committee members of Abhaya Anjaneya Swamy temple took part in the celestial celebrations of Rama Navami.  

Local Corporator Shirisha Jitender Reddy participated in the special prayers at Goutham Nagar organised by the Goutham Nagar Welfare Association on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Monday.

MLC & TRS State General Secretary M Hanumanth Rao, Corporator N Jagadish Goud attended Sri Rama Navami programme at Vishnupuri Colony. Corporator Jitender Nath, former Corporators Manjula Goud, Prem and several other leaders took part in the festivities along with colony members.
