SCRWWO organises Well Baby Show

Hyderabad: South Central Railway Women’s’ Welfare Organization (SCRWWO) organised a ‘Well Baby Show’ at Central Railway Hospital, Lallaguda, Secunderabad on Saturday. Archana Yadav, President, SCRWWO was the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes to healthy baby contest children who were adjudged as winners of the show. Other Executive committee members of SCRWWO, Doctor’s and Staff of Central Railway Hospital were amongst those present on the occasion. 

As many as 68 toddlers took part in the “Well Baby Show”. First, second and third prizes were given to children in six months to one year; one to two year and two to three year categories who were judged by a team of two child specialists (Pediatricians). 

The Doctors examined the babies according to the age group for their nutritional status, general health growth pattern, immunization status and family welfare status of parents to decide the first, second and third winners. Apart from these, prizes were also given in different age groups for ‘well dressed, ‘social active’ and ‘lucky child’ babies by the Chief Guest. 

Archana Yadav while congratulating the parents said the show was organised with an aim to educate them about proper health, nutrition habits for the children and adoption of family planning. Later, she inaugurated two cool water dispenser machines at Central Hospital premises.  

Dr Ch Padma, Senior Divisional Medical Officer (Health and Family Welfare), Dr Srikanth Mahapatra, and Dr M D Naik, Chief Staff Surgeon, Central Railway Hospital, Lallaguda were present.
