DEO issues directions on uniforms getting stitched

Vikarabad:  The Telangana State Handloom Weavers’ Cooperative Society (TSCO) has directed mandal education officers to supply cloth to respective school principals for getting uniforms stitched for students in government and government-aided schools.

In a release on Tuesday, district educational officer G Renuka Devi asked the school headmasters to take measurements of students till April 6 and get the uniforms ready by May 28.  

In fact, there are 80,821 students, including 41683 females, pursuing education from class one to class eight in 1058 government schools, including Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, Adarsh schools and aided and residential schools. She wanted the uniforms to be ready by the time school reopens after the summer vacation.
