The corporator stated that cement roads would be laid in Ganesh Nagar Colony at a cost of Rs 72 lakh. The work would be taken up once the tenders were finalised. She said the drainage-drinking water pipeline link problem in the colony has been solved. Cement road works in colonies would be taken up only after the drainage pipelines are laid.

Naik asserted that she has been working to solve the problems facing the people residing on the City outskirts by bringing them to the notice of the officials concerned, with the sole motive of making her division the no.1. She attributed the problems to lack of development works in the colonies for some years. The corporator stated that funds for taking up development works have been released thanks to the intervention of Municipal Administration Minister K Taraka Rama Rao.
