Plea to install Basaweswar idol in Tandur

Tandur:  Town BJP president Bhadreshwar on Tuesday urged the main junction in the town after Basaweswara, whom both the Hndus and Lingayats worship as their guru. 

The BJP leaders on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to municipal chairman and commissioner. 

According to Basaweswar all faiths preach only one thing, i.e. peace is the instrument to achieve any task. They urged the civic authorities to install Lord Basaweswar idol at the main junction in the town and name it after Him. 

BJP leaders Nagaram Narsimulu, B Suresh, Sekhar, vikram Reddy, District Secretary Ramesh Kumar and others  were among those who had called on the civic authorities to submit memorandum highlighting the BJP’s demand.
