Importance of philosophy explainedHY

Osmania University: The two-day national level seminar on ‘Philosophy: The Eternal Awakener of Humanity’ was concluded at the District Education Center here on Thursday. Vice Chancellor Prof Ramachandram was the chief guest.

Director of the event Prof V Padmavathi said philosophy helps one to know one’s self. “It helps in eradicating social evils and to inculcate human values and strengthen relations among people,” she added. Prof George Victor, Prof Mallesh, Prof Ravinder, Prof Venkat Reddy and students took part in the seminar.
