People told to keep surroundings clean

Musheerabad: State Additional Director for Malaria and Filaria Dr S Prabhavathi has said that special steps have been taken to prevent mosquito menace. 

She was speaking during awareness programme on vector borne disease control organised by District Medical and Health Department at Nagamayakunta and EWHO waters Basthis on Thursday. She directed people of the basthis to maintain surroundings clean. She asked them to consult doctors in case of ill health. 

Official for prevention of malaria Niranjan, Yadagiri, Raju, Srinivas, Gunasekhar, Rama Krishna, Ravi Kumar, Sekhar and others were present.
