Protest by doctors seeking withdrawal of GOs

Maheshwaram:   Doctors at the Government Hospital here on Thursday staged a black badge demonstration demanding withdrawal of GOs No. 21 and 22 , which rolled back reservation in government teaching hospitals for in-service doctors.
 
The other demands are: rebuilding of Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad, provision of departmental promotions and regularisation of services of contract employees. The doctors threatened to go ahead with the demonstration programme till April 6 if the state government did not conceded their demands.
