BLF protests against passage of Private university bill

Musheerabad: Bahujan Left Front (BLF) Chairman Nalla Surya Prakash has demanded the TRS government to withdraw private university bill immediately.

He was speaking to media at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram on Wednesday. He criticised TRS government for not sticking to its electoral promise of providing free education from KG to PG. “Students studying at Government Universities are lacking basic amenities. Encouraging private education is depriving tribal students of higher education,” he added.
   
He termed adoption of the bill in the absence of opposition as undemocratic. He warned of staging a massive agitation if the bill wasn’t withdrawn. BLF state leaders Gujju Ramesh, G Ramulu, Mannaram Nagaraju, Krishna Swamy, Santosh, Keshavulu and others were present.
