Political leaders flayed for being pro-industrialists

Hyderabad: As part of CPI(M) 22nd Congress, a seminar on environment pollution and preventive measures was conducted at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram in Bhaglingampally on Sunday.

Environmentalist Prof Purusotham Reddy was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said it is everyone’s responsibility to protect environment. He criticised political leaders for taking the side of industrialists and not bothering about the health of 
people. 

The scope for living in Patancheruvu is decreasing day by day due to increasing number of industries in the area, he added. Environmental experts Illu Lubana Swaraswath and G Narasimha Rao, CPM Hyderabad Central City secretary M Srinivas and others were present.
