5 lakh for Bhavani temple compound wall promised by Mahender Reddy

 Tandur: Transport Minister Mahender Reddy on Tuesday performed special pujas at Bhavani temple in Banapur thanda. He exhorted people to entertain spiritual thinking so that they can lead a peaceful life. He announced sanction of Rs 5 lakh for building temple compound wall.  

He also assured the people of the thanda to announce another five lakh for development of the village. 

It may be recalled that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced to upgrade the tribal hamlets with a population of 500 into a panchayats. The minister asked the thanda elders to ensure the election of such village panchayats unanimous. 

Mandal Praja Parishad Sailu Goud, TRS leader Srinivas, BJP mandal president Ramu Naik and others took part.
