Two residents of Tandur killed in Bankapur

​Tandur:  Two persons were killed on Monday night at Bankapur in neighboring Karnataka in a hit and run incident while they were crossing the road.

They were identified as Mohammad Afzal (56) and Sardar (35), residents of Tandur. They had gone to Bankapur to prepare sweets during the celebration of family occasions. 

During the off-season, they sell fruits on push-carts. With the help of the identity cards, the local police identified them as residents of Tandur and informed the bereaved family members about the death. They handed over bodies to the family members after conducting the post-mortem.
