Compensation paid

Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) provided sum of Rs 5,00,000 under the Group Personal Accident Policy scheme to Y Sai Kumar whose father Yadala Ramulu expired in an electric accident while working on 5 August 2016. Y Ramulu was outsourcing sanitation worker of Sai Ram at Sardar Mahal, Kotla Alijah Road, Moghalpura. 

As per Employees' State Insurance (ESIC) records Sai Kumar is the son of Y Ramulu the deceased worker as a nominee. GHMC provides Group Personal Accident Insurance Policies through United India Insurance Co. Ltd. for 26,400 outsourcing workers of health and sanitation, parks, engineering and town planning sections by paying Rs 120 as premium amount per person per annum and workers can be benefited with the sum of 5,00,000 for potential loss.
