Huge rally marks Jagjivan Ram birth anniversary

Vikarabad:  Rich tributes were paid to former deputy prime minister and noted Dalit leader Babu Jagjivan Ram on the occasion of his 111th birth anniversary here on Thursday. 

Prominent among those paid tributes to the eminent leader were Transport Minister Mahender Reddy, District Collector Sayyyad Omar Jaleel, local MLA Sanjeeva Rao and TPCC vice-president Gaddam Prasada kumar, AICC member Chandrasekhar, people of various organisations. Earlier, they garlanded the statue of Babu Jagjivan Ram and took out a huge rally in the town.
