BJP leaders urge govt for College, Hospital

Hyderabad: The political leaders of Balapur have requested the State government to allot Junior College, Degree College and a 100-bedded hospital in the area keeping in view the population and non-availability of these facilities there.

A representation was given to State Minister P Mahinder Reddy by local BJP leaders on Thursday. They have demanded that several hundred students pass out schooling every year, but they have to travel long distances for higher education.

Similarly, it becomes very difficult for girls in the area to travel long distances. On the other hand, lack of medical facilities and hospital in the area has also been the long pending problem. They requested the minister that there was an immediate need of intermediate college, degree college and a hospital. 

The representation stated that most of the residents in the area belong to middle class and lower middle class and they cannot afford to spend much on education and healthcare. Nimmal Srikanth Goud, Kolan Shankar Reddy and others were part of the delegation.
