Silk India expo at Shilpakala Vedika

Madhapur: Tollywood upcoming actress Bhavya Sri along with city socialite Sneha Chowdary formally inaugurated the exposition 'Silk India Expo-2018’, a 6-da event  at Shilpakala Vedika, Hi-Tech City, Madhapur by Hastashilpi – an Artisans and Weavers Welfare Association.

 “It’s gladdening to see various apparel, particularly silk sarees, designer ware products to be showcased in the  city under one roof’’ the chief guests said. “Various Silk Sari Weavers, Handloom Clusters and Silk Co-operative Societies are showcasing products. The intention of the organisation is to make accessible and attain the products directly to the customers, without the mediators to the weavers and artisans’’ said, organiser  Manjunath. The Expo will be on till April 10.
