Hitec city with low quality roads

Serilingampally: Upar Sherwani, Andar pareshani is an old Hyderabadi saying which fits well as far as the roads in Hitec city and its surroundings go. While the main roads are spic and span, the interior roads are in a bad shape.  

Maheshwar, a resident of Serilingampally says, “The road from Masidbanda to Raghavendra Colony is in such a worse condition that people stop their vehicles and go walking as there are so many poth holes here.” 

The unseasonal rain in the past few days has further deteriorated the roads. Ravi, a local says, “The GHMC is only focusing on main roads and dos not bother to relay roads in the lanes and bylanes. One shower is enough and the place gets inundated.”
