200 monkeys caught, let off in forest
Siddipet: Monkey menace has reached alarming proportions in the town. They are playing mischief and meddling with segregation of dry and west waste in the town. The town residents have been complaining about nuisance being caused by the simians.
The municipal staff has been trying to catch them for the past three days to get rid the town residents of the menace. The civic staff offered them food and caught them. They were let off in Sammakka-Sarakka forest region.
In fact, 200 simians have been caged and transported to the forest area to let them off. Municipal commissioner Srinivasa Reddy supervised the operation personally. Sanitary inspector Satyanarayana toured in various wards in the town to catch the monkeys.
