MLA announces `25 lakh to colonies with 100 pc RWHS

Sherlingampally:  MLA Arikepudi Gandhi on Monday announced to sanction Rs 25 lakh to any residential colony that builds 100 per cent water harvesting structures (RWHS) completely. Earlier, he handed over a letter announcing sanction of Rs 10 lakh to HMWSSB GM Rajasekhar Reddy for construction of rainwater harvesting structures through CDP. 

The MLA asked the officials to supply drinking water through the Mission Bhagiradha in pollution affected and network areas.  The MLA also asked water works officials to complete the pending drinking water pipeline works and supply water to people. He asked the officials to complete all the 10 reservoirs under the Mission Bhagiradha and resume drinking water supply.
