Ration cards, cheques given to 3k women

 Kukatpally: Malkajgiri MP Ch Malla Reddy and M Krishna Rao, Kukatpally MLA  held a meeting with 3,000 women and distributed ration cards and handed over cheques as part of several government schemes. Handicapped, widows and single women were handed over 2,312 ration cards. 

Rs 30 lakh was distributed among 200 persons from the Chief Minister relief fund. The MLA directed officials to repair the Bowenpally road within three months and ensure that all drainage problems are sorted out in the area. Malkajgiri MP CH Malla Reddy said that Rs 25.5 crore was allotted to clean up the Hashmathpet Lake. Presently, sewage from 15 colonies is let into the lake. The sewage water would be diverted and the lake would become clean in due course, said Malla Reddy.
