MLA heavily comes down on municipal governing body

Vikarabad:  Local legislator Sanjeeva Rao has breathed fire on Vikarabad Municipal governing body for not bringing people’s issues to his notice.
 
Addressing media here on Thursday, he observed, “The governing body is functioning archaically. Members of the body decided to have a meeting with 194 issues on the agenda on April 13.” The MLA directed the governing body to cancel the meeting as it is coinciding with Zilla Parished meeting.  TRS councillors expressed anger over the governing body for finalizing the agenda for the meeting without taking them into confidence. 

Agriculture Market Committee Chairman Ramchandra Reddy, Municipal vice-chairman Suresh, TRS floor leader, ward councillor Vijayander Goud and others were present.
