Revenue babus raze illegal building

Jagadgirigutta: Revenue officials led by RI Sudhakar demolished an illegal construction on a land bearing survey number 348/1 near the Rajeev Gruhakalpa residential area, here on Friday. 

Speaking on the occasion, Sudhakar revealed that the razed building was being developed under the pretext of a library and that they have taken action after receiving a complaint about the same from one of the residents in the neighbourhood. In the meanwhile, the victims of the demolition held a silent protest against the move of the revenue officials saying that the library being built was meant to be named after Ambedkar.
