Damaged manholes irk residents

Chandrayangutta: Many localities in the area lack proper roads and possess damaged manholes. This has become the regular sight in many colonies here. Open and damaged manholes in the area are posing serious threat for the commuters in the colonies. 

Authorities are not taking notice of this menace and repair works were not taken up so far. Some manholes were replaced but were damaged in no time and situation remained the same now. Locals have demanded that the authorities concerned find amicable and sustainable solution for this problem.
