‘Public representatives should work irrespective of politics’

Sangareddy:  Zilla Parishad Chairperson at all-member general body meeting of erstwhile Medak district Zilla Parishad Rajamani Muraliyadav said all the public representative need to work to address the public issues irrespective of politics and their parties. 

Presided by the Zilla Parishad Chairperson, the meeting, which was attended by the district collector V Venkareshwarlu, MP K Prabhakar Reddy and MLC Sudhakar Reddy, discussed the works of Mission Bhageeratha, Panchayat Raj, Health and Medicine, pollution control, agriculture, construction of 2BHK houses, welfare, education, fisheries, Roads and Buildings , irrigation and animal husbandry. The meeting could be utilised as dais for the reddressal of the public grievances by the public representatives.

Collector V Venkateshwarlu  said all responsible officials were on the job to provide bulk water by Mission Bhageeratha project by the end of June to every household in the district. Speaking about the pollution control, he said, factories and industries that cause harm to the atmosphere would not be tolerated and ordered the officials to submit the related report regarding the actions taken against those factories. Developmental works including drinking water should be done at fact pace in the district, said the collector.

MP Prabhakar Reddy sought the collector to take actions if any officials don’t follow the protocol and don’t intimate about the plans and meetings to the public representatives. MLC Sudhakar Reddy urged the collector to take actions to control the water and air pollution by the numerous factories in the District. Patancheru MLA Mahipal Reddy asked the District Education Officer to inspect the facilities at private schools and to shift the girls and boys students of high school to the new school building constructed by the funds of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Patancheru town.

Sangareddy MLA C Prabhkar addressed the issues of drinking water, pollution, roads and bridge works. MPPs and ZPTCs of the various areas ranted about the problems in the rural areas. The meeting was also attended by Joint Collector Nikhila, ZP CEO Ravi, MLC Bhoopal Reddy,Babu Mohan and other district officials.
