Parigi: Now, it’s again good time for watches! Due to mobile cellular phones, the necessity of watches and alarm pieces had become irrelevant. It’s a common scene that whoever wants to know what time it is, they take cell phone from their pockets and confirm.

But some time back, until 80’s and 90’s, a wrist watch was a fashion icon. It may be surprising for the present generation that, married men of 80’s were usually identified by their gold-plated wrist watches. Young people who enter college after schooling would demand wrist watch from their parents. The wrist watch was the precious gift during those day. But time has changed many things. Alam, owner of watch shop from Parigi said that popularity for watches has been increased considerably. Youth are showing so much interest on sporting watches. As per their tastes, many different models are coming to market. Fazil, a student of the town said he never worn watch before. “But now trend is changed. I want to follow the trend. That’s why I’m also waring watch along with my friends,” he said. People of rich families sport expensive watches. Many international brands are catering such people. Also, very economical watches are also available for those who keep on changing items quite frequently.'
