Roads being expanded for solving traffic problems, says Mayor
Serilingamapally: The State government is all set to expand the city's main road network for solving traffic problems, said Mayor Bonthu Rammohan on Friday. The Mayor was speaking after reviewing with officials the steps for widening of the road from Khajaguda Dhada Crossroads to Nanakramguda Ring Road. He conducted a padayatra from Rayadurgam Old Mumbai National Highway to Khajaguda along with officials.
Addressing the officials, Rammohan said the expansion of roads would result in faster development. He pointed out during such works some people were bound to suffer losses. However, the government would strive to ensure that they were paid compensation. Among those present were Ranga Reddy district Joint Collector Harish, GHMC Zonal Commissioner Harichandana, Serilingamapally GHMC deputy commissioner Mamata, besides officials.
