LB Nagar:  Former Cong MLA Devireddy Sudireddy on Sunday resorted to a novel protest by begging in front of the Andhra Bank ATM center  at New March Nagar in Champapet division highlighting the plight of the ATM centers, which have gone dry on account of what he said ‘mindless action’ of the Center.

The empty ATM machines are forcing the people to undergo hardships. An economic slowdown of sorts has set in, he alleged. Farmers, students, workers and employees are facing untold problems on account of the ATMs going dry, he said threatening to lay siege to the Reserve Bank of India if remedial measures are not initiated. Former MLA Sudhir Reddy accused the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of dancing to the tunes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He lamented that the rulers of the country are not paying attention to the problems of the common man.

The Congress would expose the misdeeds of Narendra Modi and K Chandrashekar Rao soon, he said.  Champapet Divisional Congress president Nalla Raghuma Reddy lead the protest programme. Congress leaders Rajasekhara Reddy, Raghunandan Reddy, Sunkoju Krishnamachary and others took part in the programme.
