Nacharam village Goddess idol installed

Nacharam:  Local Goddess Trayahnika’s idol was installed on Sunday on a grand scale with religious fervor bringing curtains down on the three-day installation celebrations. Special pujas were performed in the morning by Vedic scholar Vedantam Narasimha Murthy. Rituals like Oggukatha and Bonalu were performed on the occasion. 

City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, MLA NVVS Prabhakar, MBC chairman Taduri Srinivas, TRS Uppal constituency incharge Beti Subhash Reddy, Congress in-charge Bandari Lakshma Reddy and others took part in the rituals. Corporator Santi Saizen Sekhar also performed special puja on the occasion.
