Three-day workshop on translation concludes

Chattabazar: Language experts and members of Human Welfare Foundation said that there were several employment opportunities in the field of translation. The three-day workshop for training in translation was concluded on Monday.

Dozens of candidates attended the workshop who are appearing for the Grade-I and Grade-II Urdu Officers which is scheduled to be held on May 20. JIH State President Hamid Mohammed Khan on this occasion said that learning languages always prove to be a boon for any student.

He said that appointment of Urdu Officers by the Telangana government was a good initiative and advised the applicants to study hard to crack the examination. Maulana Azad National Urdu University Professor Faheemuddin and others trained the candidates in different languages during the three-day workshop. Applicants of the examination who attended the workshop expressed their happiness and wished that more such trainings were needed for many Urdu knowing candidates.
