Police raids godowns, seizes chemicals

Chaderghat: The Police sleuths and GHMC officials on Wednesday raided a Mango godown in Chaderghat area and seized the unauthorised ripening chemicals there. The godown organizsers were found to be using Carbide and other Chinese made chemicals for ripening the Mangoes which are banned by the civic authorities. The civic authorities have raided several such godowns in city and seized the chemicals.
