Minister Harish inspects Ranganayak Sagar works

Chinnakodur: Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao inspected the works at Ranganayak Sagar reservoir in Chinnakodur mandal of Siddipet district on Wednesday. The Minister said as part of the Kaleshwaram project, Ranganayak Sagar reservoir with the capacity of 3 tmc ft water storage to irrigate 1.10 lakh acres of land will be ready by the end of 2018 and so are the works going on day and night at breakneck pace. 

He ordered the officials to speed up the works of tunnel, stone bunding, tunnel pump house and surge pool by deploying sufficient staff for the completion of the project. The Minister categorically ordered the officials not to be shoddy in terms of quality at any cost and the pending works of reservoir bund should be finished without any delay. He also inspected the works of 400KV substation for the project and directed to complete it soon.
