Municipal workers stage protest at Ambedkar statue

Pedda Amberpet: Demanding GO or Circular on salary hike, Municipal workers under the banner of CITU staged protest at Ambedkar statue at Kuntloor on Thursday. 

Speaking on this occasion, CITU state secretary Paladugu Bhaskar and Ranga Reddy district secretary said that municipal body last month made a resolution on salary hike and sent it to the government. They condemned the government’s inaction for not making any GO or circular in this regard.

CITU leaders demanded the GO from government. They said that on various demands, municipal workers going on strike on April 27. CITU leaders E Narasimha, A Mahesh, workers Mysaiah, Jangaiah, Narasimha, Vasantha, Peddaiah, Pandu and others took park.
